The Lion, Sandwhich, and the Whoredrobe.
These types of weekends have sort of become my life, and I’m totally digging it.

It’s not exactly a wardrobe, but “that’ll do pig, that’ll do.”
May Long was only a few weeks ago, and as “eventful” as that weekend was, I still managed to have myself a good ol’ time with the help of some good peeps. One thing I’ve never done in the past decade and a half I’ve been here on the west coast is drive outside the city. I like to drive, so sometimes I’ll just hop in the car, put on some music and go on my little route that’ll start around dusk in Surrey, and end with me driving through downtown Vancouver at night. I like the bright lights against the dark backdrop. (read: shiny things make me happy and if that makes me a crow, then so be it. I’m a crow.)
Bearmike, as he has been so aptly nicknamed from his infamous badminton pose, took it upon himself to drag me out of my emo shame-spiral that weekend and took the time out to take me on a trip to Narnia (WHAT?! Note: Ann, I would have linked to your site, except your site breaks my computer with that video.)

“Devil’s Canyon” …hahaha, moron.
The trip started in Surrey, then down some ridiculously scenic highway that I never new existed through to Mission. There was a pit-stop (for hot dogs) in Harrison and it ended gloriously with the best Mushroom Omelette I’ve ever had in a restaurant in the quaint “village” of Hope.
Somewhere between the *flop and the river, we took a random turn (ha-ha! See what I did there?) and there was a canyon which I can’t remember the name of for the life of me. It looked a lot nicer than my pictures can describe.. which I’m a little disappointed at. I suppose I can’t always have my photographer’s hat on.
I would gladly take that drive again in the day the next time weather permits. Maybe bust out a bit further and find another gorge to explore.

Taken by Po’baby.
Just to prove I was there and not stealing pictures.
Thanks mang.
I would have posted this earlier, except I’ve been having some computer troubles.. mainly, the free space left on my main drive is smaller than most USB keys these days.
*begin poker reference
Edit: It’s called Othello Tunnels.
Oh, and as a preview for my next post.. here’s a picture that Ann took on our extremely impromptu day at Stanley Park. Thanks for the fancy photo of me =). For being a cam-slut, I’m not in front of the lens very much these days.

That first picture is strange. It doesn’t even look real, it looks like a screenshot out of a silent hill video game or something.

i think it was near or just past Hope. I really have no idea, but we went to eat at Hope afterwards, so its in that area. Definitely past Harrison though. There was a sign on the road and we just went. Adventure time, DAAAWWG.
The tunnel pic is for realz. There’s a red dot on the side where someone spray painted.. i was going to take it out, but now i’m lazy.
