It’s over. It took me longer than i thought because I kept getting side tracked looking for new clothes and hair and cutlasses, but alas, my pirating days in Albion are done.

I liked the game overall. It wasn’t long and never felt boring like some of the Final Fantasy games out there, actually, any jrpg. Best part of the game for me was the combat system and the character styling you get to do. I hate how some games give you badass armor or weapons that look awesome as an item graphic, then you equip it, and it’s the same generic stick you’re going to have all game to fight with. Not the case here. Also, I got to make my character a pirate.. and in my unending thirst to get more & more shit for my character for the lowest price possible, he’s a butt pirate.. named Desperado.

End game was sweet. You get to choose 3 things for how your end game will play out which i think is pretty sweet cause it’d be nice to pick up the game and do a side quest to grab a few achievement points but have it be affected by how i chose to end the game. The game let me choose between:

1. Saving everyone other than Butt Pirates dog (family if you had one).
2. Jooxing everyone and saving Butt Pirates dog.
3. Joox everyone and the dog but get a million dollars end game.

I chose 2, cause Money is easy to come by, and I like dogs, and he helps find treasure for end game. Fuck the peons.

The ending of the story itself was a tad crap becaue it didn’t explain everything, hell, it didn’t even explain some of the things that are just thrown at you throughout the game.. like who the fuck is Teresa? Or what the douche happened after Butt Pirate got shot in the face 50 cent style??

Anyway, I was curious to see what the other obvious choice was (choice 1) which the game leads you to think is the ‘good’ choice because after I chose to save the dog, the fat woman scolded me and said she was dissapointed in the choice. Whore. This is here i found everyone moaning about how the game didn’t have a big enough boss fight or how the game was too easy. I think all those people are nutters and like to grind their character to level 99, cause I didn’t, found the last big fight to be a decent boss, and appreciated that I didn’t have to go back at anytime in the game to level my Butt Pirate so he could pilage impossible Bandit ass to finish the game.

Tip to win the game if you want to rush through it in 8hrs?
1. Buy property and use the Bartending job to get your dollars on. Any other way is pretty pointless and much more time consuming (and frustrating). You can pretty much buy anything after you a few good properties under your belt.

2. Things you must to level for me are:
Will: Shock/Inferno (5 stars), Time Control (3 stars)
Item: Ghoul stone, so every hit you joox some life back, and a few auto revive potion things.

End game battle is pretty easy if you have Time Control, cause you can slow everything down, smash a few guys to get your life back up, slow time again, run to a corner, and charge the magic to smoke the floating boss-dildo over the ocean.

Overall, 8/10. Because the ending story-wise was suck. NHL 09, GOW2, here I come.
