Re: 1st Annual Beisty Awards

Two months after the original idea, it has happened. We all got happened.

All in all it was an impromptu event with a good end result. There are many more beisties to be reenacted and awarded, even though I think the categories and related nominations were not thought out and obviously lopsided. Oh well, maybe the 2009 Summer Beisties will be more thought out and possibly have a podium.

I’ll have to make a separate page for this to track our nominations, official nomiations, and our “winners” — possibly a blooper reel.

At any rate, the 2008 Beisty Awards have officially concluded and here are the results:

The physical awards (note: all awards were donated for the greater good of recognizing jackassery in all its glory)

Title: Lifetime Beisty – A fancy glass-like, jooxed BCCMA award
Description: Person to accumulate the most number of nominations.

Title: Personal Beisty – A plaque. THE plaque.
Description: Person to commit an act in the name of beisty but has minimal to no collateral damage.

Title: ‘F’ Your Friends Beisty – A stolen award (again). The Valedictorian statue from our year in HS
Description: Person to rule their friends while committing a heinous act.

Title: Beisty of the Year – The cockflute aka. The Cockorina of Time
Description: Person to commit a beisty that is Best in Show, Best in Heat, and Best in Beisty.. of-the-year.
