Cat Ions are Puss-itive
No, I’m not reviewing my Chemistry 11 notes, but staying positive is something that is hard to do when it feels like the world is crashing down on you (or you). Much like my car, we all need fixing in some way or another, and as content as I am being who I am, I wouldn’t feel at ease if I had nothing I wanted to improve about myself. I like to think it’s the drive that keeps us going and to get better. So just to weigh in on what’s goin on with you twos: as much as it sucks, find the pussitive in your situation and run with it.
I distinctly remember being in an incredibly similar situation with becca two years ago after I had graduated, had my goals temporarily feel completely out of reach and was unemployed for about a year. As much as I like to tell people that they can use the extra time to do something that they want, or learn something.. I didn’t even really do that for myself. The majority of the time i spent sleeping in so that I wouldn’t have to be conscious while the rest of the world was getting paid, then spent the night wallowing in my own apathetic-ness. Even now that i’m “set up” I am still feeling that lazy feeling, and it’s something I’m going to improve in myself.
Life is not like a box of chocolates.. life is like your car. It needs maintenance once in a while, and if you’re lucky, it comes with creature comforts like cruise control and air conditioning.
So today, I went to the common area between buildings at work and snapped some pics. It’s pretty nice and hope the vibe wont be lost on me before summer hits because it would be a shame not to be able to enjoy it.

Thanks for sharing this, Will. I found this post very insightful and speaks to what many of us (myself included) have felt.
